In today’s (chronological) Bible reading… Numbers 10-13; Psalm 90… we see God’s people at the edge of the Promised Land.

Moses sent in 12 spies to check it out.  We know 2 by name – Joshua & Caleb; they said it was a land and a people promised to them by God and ripe for the picking, while the other 10 said the people were too big and the cities were too strong and the task too much.

They all saw the same thing… from different viewpoints, and came away with different conclusions.

When we have a small view of God, we will have a small view of our place in His plan.  When we trust our Big God, we are ready to slay giants.
