In today’s (chronological) Bible reading… Ecclesiastes 1-6… we see Solomon continuing to look at life, but from a different – more cynical – perspective.

Toward the end of his incredibly full life, Solomon looked back… and wondered if he’d really accomplished anything worthwhile.  He had success, fame and wealth.  But had he really made a dent in eternity?

Is life really a waste of time?  We’re here for awhile and then – poof!… That’s it?

It doesn’t have to be that way.  It depends on what we’re living for… WHO we’re living for!

We don’t need success, fame, and wealth to become who we are; we enjoy them because of who we are.
