In today’s (chronological) Bible reading (actually, a day late)… Isaiah 9-12… Isaiah describes a world much different from our own.
It’s hard for us to imagine life on this earth – now – without danger. But, Isaiah describes a world in which domestic animals do not fear wild animals. Even among humans, there will be no fear. Even the youngest, most vulnerable child will not need to fear the most dangerous kinds of poisonous snakes.
This, of course is not possible on this earth today. But it will happen! It will take place during that millennial reign of Christ… a time of peace on earth because Jesus Himself will serve as King.
There are still dangers in this life. But, one day, all nations will know Him and the peace He brings.
There is hope that bad things… and bad days… will end.
