In today’s (chronological) Bible reading… 2Corinthians 1-4… we catch Paul in what of the toughest times of his ministry.

As Paul wrote this letter (in response to a letter written to him in response to his first letter written to them!), Paul was trying to get their attention.  False teachers had come in… and had distracted them from the true gospel.

As you read this letter, you can almost tell – from your psychologist’s couch – he was emotionally and spiritually bruised.  But, from his struggle, we have a deep reflection on the nature of real, true, authentic Christian ministry.

Stay strong – even through the struggles.  It will be worth it on the other side…
