In today’s (chronological) Bible reading… Revelation 14-18… we read of the 7 bowl judgments & the fall of Babylon.

You may have heard of the “Battle of Armageddon”.  “Armageddon” is more than just a blockbuster movie starring Bruce Willis.  “Armageddon” is Hebrew for ‘the hill of Megiddo’. and “Megiddo” means ‘place of slaughter’.

It is the same plain in the Holy Land where Barak, a judge, defeated the Canaanites… and where Gideon, another judge, defeated the Midianites.  King Saul fought his last battle there.

It is one of the greatest natural battlefields on the planet… and it is where the AntiChrist will gather the world’s armies to fight against Jesus Christ.  Our reading tomorrow, Rev. 19:11-21, records the outcome.
