Each week, I am attempting to memorize a different Scripture verse (or verses).  Most of these are well-known verses… and many of these you may already have memorized.

My verse(s) for this week are great life-verses…

Here are 4 reasons why you should “trust in the Lord”:

–  He Is Conscious

He’s aware.  He’s aware of you… and He’s aware of everything you are experiencing.  He knows what things we have need of even before we ask Him.  He already knows everything about you.

–  He Is Concerned

1Peter 5:7 says “cast your cares/anxieties/worries on Him because He cares about you.”  Yes, He cares about you! Whatever concerns you concerns Him.  So when you’re faced with problems/situations/obstacles that seem insurmountable just throw them on Him, He can handle them.

–  He Is Consistent

This means He’s faithful and you can also count on Him and trust Him to do exactly what He say’s He will do every single time.  Even if others let you down or are found to be unreliable, God will never let you down.  You can always rely on Him.
–  He Is Capable

Ephesians 3:20 says God is “able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we could ask or think according to the power that He works in us.”  This means nothing is too hard for God.

So… “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Conclusion; If you’ve been relying on yourself as well as others, and not depending totally on the Lord to meet your needs, I admonish you today to trust Him completely.
