Each week this year, I am challenging myself to memorize a verse (or verses) of Scripture… and to study that verse (or verses) more intently.

This week’s memory verses are Matthew 6:9-13… the Lord’s Prayer.

Memorize it with me… a phrase at a time:

Jesus (as part of the Sermon on the Mount) said,

“In this manner, therefore, pray:

‘Our Father in Heaven,

hallowed be Your name.

Your Kingdom come,

Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

Amen.'”
