This song was recorded by Audio Adrenaline… included on their album, Don’t Censor Me.

Audio Adrenaline is an American Christian rock band that formed in 1986 at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. The band, consisting of Mark Stuart (lead vocals), Barry Blair (guitars), Will McGinniss (bass), David Stuart (keyboards), and Phil Vaughan (drums), gained recognition during the 1990s and received 2 Grammy Awards and multiple Dove Awards. In 2006, the group disbanded due to lead singer, Mark Stuart’s, spasmodic dysphonia. Up until then, they released eight studio albums.
After a 6-year hiatus, the band reformed in 2012 with only bassist Will McGinniss returning from the original line-up. The new Audio Adrenaline was fronted by Kevin Max, formerly of DC Talk, as the new lead vocalist.

This song reached #1 on Christian radio and is regarded one of the band’s biggest hits of their career. It won the 1996 GMA Dove Award for Long Form Music Video of the Year, and received the Song of the Decade title from CCM Magazine for the 1990s.

I first heard this song while pastoring Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren, AR. It quickly became a popular song among youth groups everywhere.

This song describes Heaven in a way kids might relate to. It is questionable whether all the activities of this song will actually take place in Heaven. But, what Heaven holds will far exceed even these things!
Bible Reference… Matthew 6:19,20; 19:14; John 14:1-6; Revelation 21:1-8

I don’t know where you lay your head or where you call your home.
I don’t know where you eat your meals or where you talk on the phone.
I don’t know if you got a cook, a butler, or a maid.
I don’t know if you got a yard with a hammock in the shade.

I don’t know if you got some shelter, say a place to hide.
I don’t know if you live with friends in whom you can confide.
I don’t know if you got a family, say a mom or dad.
I don’t know if you feel love at all, but I bet you wish you had.

        PRE-CHORUS:
Come and go with me to my Father’s House.
Come and go with me to my Father’s House.

            CHORUS:
It’s a big, big House with lots and lots of room…
a big, big table with lots and lots of food…
a big, big yard where we can play football…
a big, big House; it’s my Father’s House.

All I know, is a big ol’ House with rooms for everyone.
All I know, is lots a land where we can play and run.
All I know, is you need love and I’ve got a family.
All I know is you’re all alone… so why not come with me?  (PRE-CHORUS & CHORUS 2x)
