This song was written and recorded by MercyMe… included on their album, The Generous Mr. Lovewell.

MercyMe is an American contemporary Christian music band founded in Edmond, Oklahoma. The band formed in 1994, and released 6 independent albums prior to signing with INO Records in 2001.
The group first gained mainstream recognition with the crossover single, “I Can Only Imagine” which elevated their debut album to triple-platinum certification. Since then, the group has released 8 additional studio albums (6 of which have been certified gold) and a greatest hits album. The group has also had 13 consecutive top 5 singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart, with 7 of them reaching #1. MercyMe has won 8 Dove Awards and has had many Grammy Award nominations.
This album was a concept album relating around the overall theme of love, and vaguely relating to its self-titled character.
The 2010 roster of MercyMe consisted of Bart Millard – vocals, Nathan Cochran – bass guitar/backing vocals, Michael John Scheuchzer – guitars, Robin Troy “Robby” Shaffer – drums/percussion, Barry Graul – guitars/backing vocals, and James Phillip “Jim” Bryson – keyboards.

I probably like this song more for the beat and music than the lyrics… but it does remind us that believers of Christ should live for Christ.
Bible reference… Romans 12:1,2; Philippians 1:19-26; 1Timothy 6:12
This is not my home; this is not my space.
Simple not my style; this is not my place.
Can’t get comfortable; can’t get settled in.
I simply don’t belong; can’t get used to this.

But, I’m here right now. I can hear You say,
”Make the most of Me”; this won’t go to waste.
If I’m out of my mind, yeah; it’s all for Christ.

If I’m making sense, then get in line.
Every moment is a chance to let your light break through.
This life, this life was meant to shine. This life, this life was meant to shine.

I don’t have to stall; I don’t have to wait.
Don’t have to bide my time ‘til I make my escape.
‘Cause Heaven’s in my heart; I won’t settle for less.
I will lift Your name by the life I live.

Every moment is a chance to let your light break through.
This life, this life was meant to shine. This life, this life was meant to shine.
